We are approximately 1 kilometre away from Stonehaven on the Vaal river, we have sufficient space for you to bring your boat and you can launch at the Emfuleni Caravan park for a modest fee.

The Emerald Casino is approximately 4 km from our lodge and the Vaalmall is 2km away, good restaurants such as Black Forest grill, Horse and River Pub can be found in a 3 km radius. Stonehaven in particular has become very popular with our guests, the estate offers good food and beverages and also river cruising trips

12 OnvaalDrive is the ideal venue if you are having a wedding nearby since our Hair and beauty salon is the ideal setup to make you look at your best for that memorable occasion.
We have entered into an association with 2 wedding venues nearby! Namely
"The Barn" with a capacity to host up to 60 guests and also caters for daily conferences, and secondly there is the larger venue "The Hangar" situated on the nearby local airfield with a capacity of up to 300 guests.
We have completed the build of a new African Game Farm style Boma with fire pit and all weather canvas roof that is available for Lunches,Dinners and small conferences(up to 20 people) prior booking is essential.
Occumed Eye Clinic
We are situated approximately 600 meters away from the entrance, so should you be visiting them for treatment you are truly next door.

In the event of a guest booking a single occupation in any room, the guest is entitled to entertain 1 additional visitor in the designated areas, but not in the booked room!!!

Security upgrades, during October we improved our security with additional perimeter solar floodlights, new cameras with integrated perimeter warning alarms connected to rapid armed response. Our next door neighbours have also installed new camera systems that likewise are connected to same rapid armed response company
12 On Vaal Lodge was established when Pim and Veronica Pieterse decided to upgrade their home to a 12 bedroom on suite Lodge which they wanted to share with their guests.

The General Manager,will be your host and ensure that you have a pleasant stay and that you, your family and friends are well taken care of... After all, you might check-in as a guest but you'll leave as a friend.

The property is situated on the R57 (Golden Highway to Sasolburg) with the entrance on Vaal Drive. Hot water to the bathrooms is provided by three 300 litre solar systems and a 38 Kva diesel generator provides back-up power should there be a power failure.

Wi-Fi is available in all the rooms, bedrooms are equipped with air conditioners. The rooms are furnished with bar type refrigerators. 9 rooms are self catering and are appropriately equipped. the water supply comes from a borehole and is supplied through an automated filter and pressure pump system
During the latter part of 2019/2020 we installed a 88kw solar system with 80 panels and the latest lithium ion batteries ensuring a continuous power supply independent of the grid
A swimming pool with a thatch Lapa, is also available to our guests. The property has a 10,000 sq meter garden with covered parking for 10 vehicles.

A fully equipped beauty and hair dressing salon is available on the property. The beauty shop also specialises in permanent make-up and removal of unsightly tattoos. The latest permanent Eye brow technique is also done by the lead artist and so is Fibroblast technology now available!!

In 2019 /2020 a fully functional Hunting style Boma was build in order for the lodge visitors and for companies to host functions.

-New era for the race shop!!!!
Having spend some 30 odd years in motorsport, having supported various young drivers and seen some of them become South Africa champions, Hennie "G", Roman D Beer. I have decided the time has come to end my involvement in motor racing, the Lola t70 mk111b will from now on be campaigned by Larry Wilford from his race shop where many Wesbank Mobil 1 super V8,s are prepared. the space that was the Race shop on our premises will now be converted to a 2 bedroom,2 bathroom and large lounge with a open kitchen, this conversion should be completed by end July 2022.
The Workshop is to be remodelled to a 2 b/room and 2 Bath room apartment
